Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser

KC CREW will host its fifth annual charity golf tournament on Monday, September 22, 2008 to benefit the Women's Employment Network (WEN).  

The event will be held at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course, located at 20200 Prairie Star Parkway in Lenexa, Kansas. Falcon Ridge is a four-star rated course, voted Best Kansas City Course for Corporate Outings by the KC Golfer Magazine-November 2007. Click here to learn more about Falcon Ridge. Country Club attire is required.

Morning activities will begin at 11:00 AM with unlimited use of the First-Class Driving Range and box lunches served at noon (sponsored by Integra, Terracon and Schifman, Remley & Associates).

Falcon Ridge will provide a golf clinic on the range from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. They will be able to help you with golfing tips, work on your golf swing or you may ask them questions about the course. They will also provide a Pro for the Pro-Drive during the game (for a small cash donation). The event is scheduled for a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Don't miss your opportunity to win a two year lease on a Land Rover LR2 provided by Aristocrat Motors, our Hole-in-One Sponsors.

Seven chances to win! Purchase a raffle ticket at registration for a chance to play golf with Joe Lauria from the FOX4 Weather Team (first drawing) or pick a caddy (six consecutive drawings).

The Mariachi Madness post-golf event which will follow the golf tournament at 6:00 PM will feature a dinner buffet, plenty of time to network, door prizes and a silent auction to benefit the Women's Employment Network, KC CREW's charitable partner.

KC CREW members have collected over 60 items for the silent auction and all proceeds will benefit the Women's Employment Network. So don’t forget to visit the auction tables. WEN is an organization that provides comprehensive employment preparation and career transition programs, workshops and services to women throughout the Kansas City area. Please click here to learn more about this wonderful organization.
