KC CREW STEPS UP -- AGAIN

While one of the most often repeated phrases in today’s world is “I’m too busy”, KC CREW has proved that we have a group of members who are not too busy to lend a hand.  For the third year in a row, KC CREW has sponsored multiple building days for Kansas City Habitat for Humanity.  Our members exchanged business and fun clothes for word clothes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.  During two days of high heat and humidity and one moderately nice day, we helped complete the interior wall framing.  In addition to work hours some of our members provided lunch and cooling drinks (non-alcoholic).  Special thanks to Alissa Masoner INTRUST Bank for organizing and heading up this Community Service project. Special thanks also to the many members who gave up their time and talent to help provide affordable housing for a local family.
