2008 Annual Charity Golf Tournament

KC CREW’s 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Mariachi Madness were held this year on September 22nd at the Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Lenexa, KS. Falcon Ridge is a four-star rated course, voted Best Kansas City Course for Corporate Outings by the KC Golfer Magazine-November 2007. We were joined by Joe Lauria from the FOX4 Weather Team and 150 other golfers to create 40 teams. The Commerce Bank team won the raffle to have Joe Lauria on their team and there were seven caddies that were also raffled off.

The Mariachi Madness dinner immediately followed the golf tournament’s conclusion in the Falcon Ridge clubhouse. Non-golfing KC CREW members and guests joined the golfers for a light dinner during which various golfer prizes were distributed and door prizes were drawn. Throughout the day Silent Auction items were on display for all to peruse and bid on. Proceeds from the post event and silent auction will be added to the funds raised by the tournament.
