KC CREW will host its ninth annual signature golf tournament on Monday, August 20, 2012.
The event will be held at the newly renovated and beautifully manicured Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club located at 9101 Nall Avenue, Prairie Village, Kansas. Golf attire is required! Collared shirts and slacks; no denim. No steel spikes are allowed on the course. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
The event is scheduled for a 9:00 am shotgun start with a four player scramble format. Registration and driving range open at 8:00 am. We greatly appreciate your participation as well as your continued support of KC CREW programs and events.
The Programs Committee is responsible for organizing monthly lunch programs that will appeal to a broad audience of various professional disciplines in the commercial real estate field, with a speaker that is well known in the area. In addition to monthly lunch programs the committee organizes happy hour events that provide additional networking opportunities.
KC CREW's Community Services Committee strives to involve members of KC CREW in charitable projects and organizations benefiting the metropolitan Kansas City area. In prior years, the Community Services Committee, often together with other KC CREW committees, has planned and held events to benefit the Women's Employment Network, sponsored a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure team, and recruited volunteers to work on several Habitat for Humanity houses. Past charitable events have included golf tournaments, pre and post golf tournament events, a wine tasting and cooking demonstration, coat drives for the Johnson County Christmas Bureau, and collecting foodstuffs for Harvesters.
The Membership Committee is responsible for responding to inquiries about membership from prospective members, communicating with prospective and new members, coordinating membership applications and generally coordinating any aspect of recruiting, processing and welcoming new members into the organization.
KC CREW offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities, with local and national benefits. The Sponsorship Committee works to obtain corporate sponsors for the organization, primarily the annual sponsors and for the monthly luncheon meetings and special events.
The Communications Committee is responsible for researching and implementing creative, effective ways of connecting internally with KC CREW members, and externally between KC CREW and the commercial real estate industry regarding the goals of the CREW Kansas City Chapter, committee goals, and topics of interest. This is accomplished through publishing a quarterly newsletter, capitalizing on public relations opportunities, ensuring the website is current, and crafting an annual marketing campaign.
Meeting location changes from month to month. If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact Kisha Perrigo at Kisha@davidsonAE.com or Rachel Denton at Rachel.Denton@novoco.com.
