KC CREW Charity Golf Tournament is September 21st

Registration for playing in the tournament is closed – all golfing spots have been filled.

KC CREW will host its sixth annual charity golf tournament on Monday, September 21, 2009 to benefit the Women's Employment Network (WEN). Click here to learn more about WEN.

The event will be held at The National Golf Club of Kansas City. The National is not only Kansas City’s finest private golf club, the Tom Watson Signature Design has been recognized as the Top 100 course by Golf Digest and the Community as a whole was recognized as a Top 100 Golf Community in the Country by Travel & Leisure Golf Magazine for four consecutive years. Nestled into the rolling hills of Parkville, Missouri, The National features stunning elevation changes, lush fairways, and pristine greens providing a fair test of golf for all levels of play. Membership at The National is by invitation only. Morning activities will begin at 11:30 AM with unlimited use of the First-Class Driving Range and box lunches served at noon (sponsored by Schifman, Remley & Associates, Inc.). Country Club attire is required. No denim, please wear collared shirts.

The event is scheduled for a 1:00 PM shotgun start. Eight chances to win! Purchase a raffle ticket at registration for a chance to pick a caddy.  Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Not a Gambler? Just $100 donation will guarantee a caddy for your team.

Golfers and non-golfers can attend the dinner and Post Golf Event party beginning at 5:30 p.m. for networking. We will feature music by DREW6 and a western themed buffet dinner on the veranda of The National (weather permitting). During the party, attendees will also have access to silent auction bidding on specialty items (BBQ, wine, golf outings, dinners, spa treatments, jewelry and art). Our featured event of the evening will be the “Great Diamond Heist”, a raffle where everyone who participates walks away with at least a set of cubic zirconium earrings. And one very happy winner will leave with a set of diamond earrings. Raffle tickets for the Great Diamond Heist are $25.00 each – available at Registration only!!

KC CREW and WEN would like to give a special Thank You to all our tournament sponsors. Without your participation and generosity, this event would not be a success!

Karli Ritter with the FOX4 Weather Team is working on a live news cast from The National on September 21st and she will play golf with us.

Play golf with Karli or choose a caddy. You will have up to nine chances to win! Purchase a raffle ticket at registration for a chance to play golf with Karli Ritter from the FOX4 Weather Team (first drawing) or pick a caddy (up to eight consecutive drawings).

Go to fox4kc.com to find out more about Karli.
